Massachusetts Food Association Speaks Out

President of the Massachusetts Food Associations Chris Flynn, says on behalf of the supermarket and grocery industry, “[The bottle bill expansion] is going to cost a lot of money in order to absorb the additional containers, and it’s really going to put a lot of pressure on retailers.”  He also believes that the influx of containers could complicate the original bottle return system, and attempting to add the additional containers to the bottle bill is bad timing considering the poor state of the economy.
